Fallout 4 Bobblehead Locations (Where To Find All 20)

Fallout 4 Bobbleheads

Fallout 4 was and continues to be, a smashing hit for Bethesda. It heavily improved the already successful formula of Fallout 3 and New Vegas and perfected it in this installment. With tons of enemies to face off, characters to interact with, landscapes to explore, and loot to acquire, you can lose hours in this game without a shred of regret. Speaking of losing hours into this game, we’ll be doing just that by helping you acquire and explore all the Bobblehead locations in Fallout 4.

What Are Bobbleheads In Fallout 4?

When I first encountered one of these bobbleheads in the Fallout 4 open world, they looked like decorative ornaments. However, after picking one up, apparently, they amped my stats. The boost in stats was also quite helpful in my journey through the nuclear wasteland.

Backstory: Bobbleheads are Vault-Tech merchandise and were given to executive-level Vault-Tech Corporation employees. They were also meant as a gift for those accepted to live inside the vaults.

Every bobblehead increases your S.P.E.C.I.A.L stat by one and also gives you a permanent perk. In addition to their functional purpose, you can also show them off in a bobblehead stand that you can create in any settlement, including the room in Vault 81.

Note: Although picking up each bobblehead will increase your stat by one. However, if you’ve already maxed out a S.P.E.C.I.A.L stat at 10, the bobblehead will increase it to 11.

All Bobbleheads In Fallout 4

There are a total of 20 different Vault-Tec bobbleheads in Fallout 4. Each bobblehead can be of 3 types: S.P.E.C.I.A.L, Utility, and Weapons. Each boosts a particular stat of your player. You can find them scattered around the commonwealth like little easter eggs.

Here’s a list of all 20 bobbleheads that you’ll come across in Fallout 4:

The Medicine Bobblehead is great for adding a healing boost to your build. Your Stimpaks will heal more, and you’ll have a slightly better chance of surviving a tough fight.

Hacking terminals is simple enough, but it can become really tedious with increasing difficulties. Once you exhaust all the tries, you’ll get locked out of the terminal, preventing you from accessing any potentially valuable information stored on it.

However, with Science Bobblehead, you’ll get another attempt at hacking a terminal, even if you fail once.

Science Bobblehead Location Fallout 4:

You’ll find the Science Bobblehead down at the Vault 75. It’s in the southeast part of the commonwealth underneath the Malden Middle School. Here’s its location on the map to help you locate it:

Malden Middle School

Once you go through the wrecked building of the Malden Middle School, you’ll find a staircase leading down to the Malden Middle School Basement.

Once in the basement, you’ll need to enter through the Vault 75 entrance and go into the elevator and interact with the elevator panel.

After exiting the elevator, take a right, and you’ll come across the Lab Access Door that needs a card.

To get the card, you’ll need to keep going forward through the Atrium and then head down to the Combat Simulation Area.

Here, you’ll find a Diner building. There’s a body on its first floor, and it has an access card to the lab.

Backtrack your way to the lab access door and open it up. From here, simply follow the quest that’s already triggered, called “Vault 75,” until you reach the last part, where you defeat the boss.

In the room where you defeat the boss, you’ll find the Science Bobblehead on the table next to the broken terminal.

I’m a sucker for the Stealth approach, and the Sneak Bobblehead is my absolute favorite of the bunch. I can’t even recall the numerous times it has saved me from alerting a group of high-level raiders that would lead to my character dying.

Becoming 10% harder to detect by enemies is a major change in how well you can go in and out of high-level areas without fighting. It’s a nice way to go about exploration and item hunting without any danger.

Location
Vault 114 (Park Street Station)

Bartering is a major part of Fallout 4 gameplay mechanics. This is because consistently buying and trading in loot for either Caps or upgrading your gear is vital in surviving the dangers of the wastelands.

The Speech Bobblehead helps you get more value out of the items you sell to the vendors. It increases the value of an item you barter by 100 Caps. This may not sound much, but these extra Caps count per item.

So, selling multiple items will help you get Significantly more Caps. More Caps means you’ll be able to stock up on better gear.

Speech Bobblehead Location in Fallout 4:

To acquire the Speech Bobblehead, you’ll need to gain access to Vault 114, which is underneath the Park Street Station. Here’s its location on the map:

Big Guns Bobblehead is one of the most difficult bobbleheads to acquire in Fallout 4.

First, there was radiation from the glowing sea, so I recommend that you wear your power armor.

The other tough factor was the extremely hard enemies, including a legendary gunner that you have to mow down in order to retrieve the bobblehead.

However, the pay-off is huge as it is quite powerful if you’re a fan of using heavy weapons like Fat Man, Striker, Minigun, Party Starter, and Death from above, etc.

Having the Big Guns Bobblehead on you while using a heavy weapon will instantly grant you a major boost of +25 Critical Damage. It’s quite significant and helps you chew through waves of enemies quickly.

You’ll need to head into Vault 95 to retrieve the Big Guns Bobblehead. Here’s its location marked on the map:

It substantially increases the critical damage output of your energy weapons, so you’ll make quick work of even the strongest of enemies.

I usually use energy weapons a lot due to their cheap ammo, so pairing them with this bobblehead helped my broke character in Fallout 4 significantly.

Energy Weapons Bobblehead Location in Fallout 4:

Note: To acquire the Energy Weapons Bobblehead, you’ll need to unlock the main storyline mission, Reunion.

Do you prefer the small and portable ballistic weapons compared to bigger guns or energy weapons in Fallout 4? Well, this Small Guns Bobblehead will help you boost your Critical Damage stats for your sidearm of choice.

My favorite revolver still continues to be the Western Revolver from the Nuka World DLC. It boasted a crazy amount of damage, even one-shotting minions.

However, with the Small Arms Bobblehead’s damage boost, I’m even able to handle high-level enemies with these small guns.

Small Guns Bobblehead Location in Fallout 4:

You’ll find the Small Guns Bobblehead ironically inside the Gunner’s Plaza. Here’s its location marked on the map:

Gunners Plaza

Before you enter the location, you need to have high armor, level, and damage weapons if you wish to make it out of here alive. Gunner’s Plaza is infested with high-level raiders that’ll tear you to shreds if you’re not careful.

Enter the Gunner’s Plaza and take out the raiders as you move from room to room. After a while, you’ll come across the broadcast room that says “On The Air” on top of it. Use master lockpicking skills to open the doors.

The struggle isn’t over yet, you’ll be welcomed with 2 legendary gunners as well as turrets in here.

Using your fist is typically the last resort, as you’re exposing yourself to high damage from enemies in exchange for dishing out minimal damage. However, things change a bit with Unarmed Bobblehead.

You’ll get an additional 25% boost in attacks with your fists, making unarmed combat a viable option. It’ll even the odds and literally give you a fighting chance when you don’t have any other weapons to utilize.

After entering the area, you’ll need to head through the refueling station and towards the garage.

There will be a car in the garage, and it’ll have Unarmed Bobblehead as its hood ornament. Simply pick it up.

Wrapping Up

After finally collecting all 20 bobbleheads in Fallout 4, I got the action figures’ achievement and a huge satisfaction. While reaching some bobbleheads was easier than others, it’ll all be about how far you’re into the story and how high your level is.

I still recommend at least having a decent DPS and Armor build before you venture out to Bobbleheads locations in Fallout 4. However, it’s going to be fun nonetheless, and you’ll have a great feeling when your character gains a new perk or upgraded stats after picking up each bobblehead.
