To say Lost Ark has a lot of quests would be an understatement. The game has loads of various content to get through, from boss raids to dungeon crawling, and every quest in between. The Stone of Power is one of these quests, though it’s a bit of a break from the norm. Unlike most other quests in Lost Ark, Stone of Power doesn’t have any quest markers, and is pretty sparse with information. Even still, you’ll need to complete it if you want the Serenity Isle Soul. In this guide, I will walk you through how you can complete this quest.
Accepting the Stone of Power quest in Lost Ark
To accept the Stone of Power quest in Lost Ark, you must first travel to Serenity Isle. The island is located in the middle of Platina Ocean, between East Luterra and the southernmost part of Anikka. Assuming you have a ship, you can set sail from Wavestrand Port on the coast of East Luterra and sail due west. You should sail right past the northernmost part of Serenity Island, so keep an eye out for it.
Once you’ve reached Serenity Island, you need to pay a visit to the Legendary Blacksmith that calls the island home. He will offer you the Stone of Power quest, but you must meet some prerequisites first.
Stone of Power prerequisites
There are two quests that you’ll need to complete before you can accept the Stone of Power quest. Both prerequisite quests, and Stone of Power itself, have a level requirement of at least 50, so you’ll need to achieve that before you even think of starting this quest. If you have, your first prerequisite quest can be taken in the east of Serenity Isle. There are three piles of ash and debris located on the beach, with one being found close to the pier you enter the island from. Head over to it and interact with the debris to accept “Who’s There”, the first prerequisite quest.
After you’ve accepted the quest, you’ll need to do a little exploring of Serenity Island. It’s nothing major, but you’ll need to examine some debris, speak to an NPC called the Fallen Umar, and collect some items, which takes you around a decent chunk of the island. Once you’ve cleared this quest, you can head over to the east of the island to accept the next one, titled “A Sad History”.
A Sad History is a simple fetch quest. You’ll be tasked by the Legendary Blacksmith to collect 10 Slime Gems and Birch Timber, all of which can be found just north of where the Fallen Umar lay. Once you’ve got 10 of each, head back to the Legendary Blacksmith and turn in the quest.

Completing the Stone of Power quest in Lost Ark
With the prerequisite quests out of the way, you can head back to the Legendary Blacksmith and accept the Stone of Power quest. You’ll have three main objectives to complete for this quest – collect 15 pieces of Shadowfallen Giant Locarok, collect the Pebbling’s stone fragments, and collect the 4th Claw of Thanatos. While this kind of item collection is par for the course, there is one significant quirk for this quest – there aren’t any quest markers. If you don’t know where to look, completing this quest will be a challenge, to say the least.
Collecting pieces of Shadowfallen Giant Locarok
The first step of this quest will take you to Tortoyk, or more specifically, the Tortoyk’s Heart dungeon. In this dungeon, you’ll need to kill a few Shadowfallen Locaroks, which is especially easy if you have some strong AOE attacks. Just run down a corridor with a bunch of them, gather them all close, and kill them in one fell swoop. You won’t need many to complete this leg of the quest.
Collecting the Pebbling’s stone fragments
The second part of the Stone of Power quest will keep you on Tortoyk, with the specific location being right after the first portion of this quest. Shortly after the part where Mokamoka asks you to carry him in your pocket will be a few waves of enemies blocking your path onwards. Some of these enemies are Pebblings. Kill them to complete this part of the quest.
Collecting the 4th Claw of Thanatos
The final step of the Stone of Power quest will be a real throwback, taking you to Morai Ruins in Yudia. Here, you’ll need to kill Thanatos, which should be infinitely easier than the last time you faced him. The fight will play out just as it did last time, only now, you’ll get the 4th Claw of Thanatos for defeating him.
Turning in the quest
Once you have all three parts of the Stone of Power quest completed, you can sail back to Serenity Isle and receive your reward from the Legendary Blacksmith. For your efforts, you’ll get 320 Roster XP, 3 Lavish Destruction Stone Fragment Chests, 12 Lavish Guardian Stone Fragment Chests, and, most important of all, a Skill Point Potion. You’ll also unlock the next quest in this little questline, titled “Revenge is Mine”. You’ll need to complete this quest next if you want the Serenity Isle Soul, plus a few other minor rewards.
