Immediately after defeating Radahn, Blaidd can be found next to the Site of Grace that pops up. He and Iron Fist Alexander, who can be found down the hill, have a new dialogue to share with you.
If you listen to Blaidd, he offers a good hint about where he can be found. He declares that you and he must meet in Nokron, the area opened up by the meteorite that Radahn kept at bay. Together, you and Blaidd will fight for Ranni’s fate.

Where to find Blaidd after Radahn

Despite the clue in the previous dialogue, Blaidd cannot be found in Nokron. This area is still worth exploring for items, materials, bosses, and questlines.
Blaidd’s absence in Nokron is a red herring to encourage exploration. To find Blaidd after Radahn’s festival, you’ll need to search in an unexpected location.
Heading to the Forlorn Hound Evergaol
Instead of going to Nokron, Blaidd is imprisoned by War Counselor Iji in the Forlorn Hound Evergaol immediately after leaving Radahn’s battleground. To hear what Blaidd says, speak to him right after the fight.
For more lore, talk to War Counselor Iji first, then visit the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, located in the south of Limgrave near the bridge to the Weeping Peninsula. Blaidd can be heard howling from within.
When you speak with him, he will explain his situation and ask for your help to free him, which is necessary for both his and Ranni’s questlines. Afterward, return to War Counselor Iji for additional lore details about Blaidd and Ranni

Defeating Radahn before starting Ranni’s questline
Some questlines in Elden Ring are easy to get locked out of. Ranni’s, and by extension Blaidd’s, is not one of them. Even if you’ve defeated Radahn before meeting Ranni, you won’t be soft-locked out of these quests. However, you’ll need to complete a few tasks to catch up.
First, it’s a good idea to visit the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. Blaidd won’t be inside howling until you start Ranni’s questline, but it’s worth clearing the current occupant, Bloodhound Knight Darriwil, before proceeding.
If you visit before defeating Radahn, you can summon Blaidd to assist you in the battle. After defeating the knight, head to Liurnia, and your next destination will be Caria Manor, located on the western side of the lake.
